Find out more about REDCap and how GHS utilizes the survey tool. We will explore the user interface when working with a project and modifying components. You will also have the opportunity to learn about reporting and exporting features.
Did you know? REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is an excellent tool for researchers designing clinical and translational research databases. The REDCap Consortium is a collaborative, international network of more than 900 institutional partners in over 70 countries. GHS is a member of the consortium, providing access to REDCAP resources and research instruments.
GHS Research Grand Rounds: Opportunities in Rehabilitation Research

Join Marieke Van Puymbroeck, Ph.D., and Brent Hawkins, Ph.D., from Clemson University’s Therapeutic Recreation Department for a special session for physiatrists and therapy staff. Exchange ideas, discover ways to generate new ones and learn more about current rehabilitation research.
Dr. Van Puymbroeck, a rehabilitation scientist and recreational therapy coordinator, will discuss yoga as a means to improve physical functioning, psychological well-being, and social health in individuals with acute and chronic disease and disability. Dr. Van Puymbroeck will also cover the use of activity as a means to improve functioning across rehabilitation populations and potential areas for research collaborations. Dr. Hawkins is a recreational therapist and assistant professor in Recreational Therapy at Clemson University. He will discuss the potential for measurement of rehabilitation outcomes of patients in inpatient rehabilitation as well as the measurement community reintegration post injury and rehabilitation.
